On Saturday, October 23, 2010 be part of the international effort to break the World Record for the Largest Simultaneous Dance.  Learn the Thriller dance, have fun and celebrate the legacy of Michael Jackson.

You can learn the dance on your own by watching the instructional videos on the official Thrill the World website.  No dance experience is required!!  Anyone of any age or experience level can and is encouraged to participate!  We hope to schedule a few workshops prior to the big event so you can learn the dance in person, if you'd prefer.  It only takes about two hours!  We are also happy to schedule a workshop at a location near you if you get a group together.  Please contact Lori to make arrangements.

We're at a new location this year and we're very excited about it!  Located in the Jolly Cedar Plaza at 5140 S Cedar in Lansing, we will be next door to the Lansing Jaycees' Monster Mayhem Haunted House!  We are planning some fun things for Thrill Day, so keep checking back and fan us on Facebook.  The record breaking attempt will start at 7:00 pm sharp!  There is no cost to participate in the group performance.  Be there by 6:00 pm so you are ready to go and to ensure you are included in the count!

We are currently looking for sponsors and volunteers to help make the Mid-Michigan event a night to remember.  There are plenty of opportunities for any level of interest.  You do not have to be a Jaycee!

Please contact chairperson Lori Friedlis with questions or to volunteer.
